Abstract
The present thesis deals with the study of the effect of the denture base materials (heat cured acrylic resin, acrylic and silicon soft liners) on the epithetial cells DNA of completely edentvlous subjects. It was found that self and heat cured acrylic as well as heat cured silicon soft liners had no apparent toxicilty on epithlical cells DNA. The toxicity was of the order Acrylic resin heat cured (short cycle) < self cured silicon .Soft liner < heat cured acrylic resin (long cycle).
