Abstract

The main goal of the present thesis is study of the metamorphic evolution for the migmatites in Wadi Feiran and Wadi Magrish. This goal is achieved by some tools like petrography, geochemistry, mineral chemistry and geothermobarometry. It can be concluded that the two migmatites are formed in closed system. The metamorphic differentiation, at PT conditions of 615655 (R@(BC and 4.85.6 kbar, is the most applicable process for Wadi Magrish migmatites. whereas, the Feiran zone migmatites were generated through anatexis process at relatively high PT conditions of 638746 (R@(BC and 4.45.2 kbar. In spite of the PT conditions for migmatization of the Feiran zone migmatite that are excess (>650 (R@(BC) than that for the Magrish migmatites (<650 (R@(BC), the leucosome in the Magrish is more distinct in its abundantly than that of the Feiran zone migmatite, which is related to the protolith composition diversity.
