Other theories as deficiency theory, thrombosis of conjunctival vessels lmeohanioal trauma by hairs, warts, cysts, abnormal tears. The histopathology of pterygium showed epithelial ohanges in the form of thickening, thinning, goblet cells, pseudoglandular formation, and the stroma showed many inflammatory cells, neovascularisation, collagen, elastic tissue and hyainisation. |
