Abstract
The idea to conceive this research study originated from a previous hydrobiological stud carried out by the auther (Abdel-hamid, 1986 ), which addressed apressing need for a comprehensive protection and managgement of water quality of the river nile. The importectionce of this study arose from the fact that, the Nile is the life artery of Egypt.
