Abstract
Oral contraceptives are currently the most widely prescribed medication in use. It is estimated that more than three quarters of egyptian women practising contraception use combined oral pills. It is natural, therefore, that such widely used drugs should recieve a thorough scruting for possible side effects on any of the body systems.
