Abstract
This study was carried out with the aim of finding out what would increase or decrease the probility of relapse in schizophrenic patients. Although our emphasis was mainly on the psychosocial factors, yet, some clinical aspects were also taken in consideration. In the theoretical part of the thesis, we have preferred to start with shedding a light on some current ideas and conceptions about schizophrenia in general, followed by detailed presentation of what concern the course and outcome of the disease in particular.
