Abstract

Waid zaghra area covers about 680 km2 of the crystalline basement complex forming a part of south-central sinai massinf. It is bounded by the following coordinates: long. 34°1 49---- 34°15 00E
latit. 28 32 27-----28 45 00 N
According to field relations and petrography the basement rock are classified into the following three main groups: I- Pre-Pan African Rocks (Infrastructure).
II- Pan African Rock Assemblage (Suprastructure).
III- Phanerozoic Alkaline Rock: 1- Ring Complex.
