Abstract
Periodontal disease is one of the most widespread disease of ‘fflkind.(1) Although statistics vary in different populations is the consensus that periodontal disease is a major cause of :DOth loss in adult population.(2) Microbial colonization on gingival sulcus is associated with :e development of gingivitis(3’4’5’6), The conversion of ::ngivitis into destructive periodontal disease occurs in the :resence of gingival microbiota.
