Abstract
bioassy technique for the 4th instar larvas of culex pipiens was used to determine the residue of pirimiphos-methyi and profenofos in or on the leaves and fruits of the treated vegetable plants.
the maimum residue level of pirimiphos-methyi is 2 ppm on edible plants. in the present investigation, pirimiphos-methyi residues were extremely below the established tolerances.
