Abstract
The study area is situated in the southeastern part of the Nile Delta between latitudes 31 15 and 32 15 east and Latitudes 30 00 and 30 35 north (mainly between Ismalia canal and Cairo - Ismailia desert road). The present thesis deals with the hydrogeology, hydrology and hydrochemistry of the Quaternary aquifer of the study area, and evalution of water and soil cover of the Tenth of Ramadan city area and its surroundings. This study depends on the obtained data collected from different sources such as Meteorological Authority and the Research Institute for Groundwater. In addition, the author carried out several survays to update the available geological, and hydrogeological informations. As well as, this study is based on the data obtained from more than fifteen deep and several productive wells. Published informations on climate, geomorphology, stratigraphy, hydrology, hydrogeology, hydrochemistry and water levels of the Quaternary aquifer.
