Abstract
The present investigation deals to study the effect of Zenin treatment plant on microbial content of ambient air. The study concentrated on the detection of faecal indicators of pollution as well as total load of bacteria upwind and down wind at different distances. The results can be summerized as follow: The density of bacterial parameters were investigated in different stages of sewage treatment plant. Raw sewage showed a mean values of 3.6x10 13 per ml; 33x10 12 MPN/100 ml; 1.2x10 12MPN/100ml; and 5.5x10 11MPN-index/100ml for total bacterial counts, total coliform, faecal coliform and faecal streptococci respectively.
