المستخلص Creativity is one of the most important educational aims sought by all developed societies, as creative people play an essential and effective role in improving their societies in all fields educationally, socially and technologically. This is because the society of today is in dire need of taking care of creative students who can set up the civilization and progress of their nation and the world in general. Thus our students urgently need our attention to develop their thoughts and knowledge in order to get out their creative potentials which should be properly directed Methodology of the Research The Problem of This Study Can be Specified in the Following Questions: 1- Are there differences in the abilities of creative thinking (fluency) between students of the experimental group using the computer program, and those of control group in posttest? 2- Are there differences in the abilities of creative thinking (flexibility) between students of the experimental group using the computer program, and those of control group in posttest? 3- Are there differences in the abilities of creative thinking (originality) between students of the experimental group using the computer program, and those of control group in posttest? 4- Are there differences in the abilities of creative thinking between students of the experimental group using the computer program, and those of control group in total degree of posttest measure? This study used the following tools: Torrance figural Test of creative thinking (Form B), and A computerized program for developing skills of creative thinking (developed by the researcher). The sample of this study, in its final status, consisted of (98) 3rd year students at department of preparing computer teacher, faculty of specific education, Mansoura University in the academic year 2005/2006. The Results of this study showed statistically significant differences between the means of scores of students of the experimental group and those of control group in posttest measure of the abilities of creative thinking (fluency) in favor of the experimental group. They also showed statistically significant differences between the means of scores of students of the experimental group and those of control group in posttest measure of the abilities of creative thinking (flexibility) in favor of the experimental group. Statistically significant differences were also found between the means of scores of students of the experimental group and those of control group in posttest measure of the abilities of creative thinking (originality) in favor of the experimental group. The results finally showed statistically significant differences between the means of scores of students of the experimental group and those of control group in posttest measure of the abilities of creative thinking (total score) in favor of the experimental group. |
