المستخلص The streamline of man’s ideas about events he faces in his life is the main factor in deciding his behavioural and affected responses , if this streamline is rational then he will behave in an effective and productive way ; but if it is irrational then he will suffer from disturbance and disharmony, for thinking and affection are an integral processes . The researcher has formulated the following hypotheses : - (1) there is a correlation of statistical significant between the irrational ideas for psychosomatic managers and psychological stresses . (2) there is a correlation of statistical significant between the irrational ideas for psychosomatic managers and anger . (3) there is statistical difference significant between the average degrees of managers who have psychosomatic disorders and those who have not such disorders concerning the irrational ideas . (4) there is a statistical difference significant between the average degrees of managers who have psychosomatic disorders and those who have not such disorders concerning the psychological stresses . (5) there is a statistical difference significant between the average degrees of managers who have psychosomatic disorders and those who have not such disorders concerning the Anger . (6) there is no statistical difference significant between the average degrees of managers who had diabetes and those who have bronchial asthma concerning the irrational ideas . The field sample of this study consists of ( 120 ) managers of males working in the public business sector and the governmental sector , (67) of them have psychosomatic disorders – who get higher grades on Cornell’s list for psychosomatic disorders - , (30) managers get lower grades on Cornell’s list for psychosomatic disorders ,and this sample of (97) managers has answered the scales correctly and completely , and the researcher chooses (15) managers suffer from bronchial asthma and (13) one suffer from diabetes to study the differences between their averages relating to irrational ideas . The researcher has used the following tolls in this study : - (1) Irrational ideas scale ( prepared by the researcher ) . (2) psychological stresses scale ( prepared by the researcher ) . (3) Arabic scales of anger ( prepared by Alaa El- Deen Kafafi and Maysa A . El- nayal , 2000 ) . (4) Cornell’s list for psychosomatic disorders ( prepared by Keev et al . and translated to Arabic Mahmoud El Sayed Abu El- Neel , 1995 ) . The researcher has used several of the statistical methods as follows : - ( 1 ) Means and standard Deviation . ( 2 ) T . Test to count the differences significant between the averages . ( 3 ) Effect Size . ( 4 ) Correlation factor ( Pearson , Spearman - Brown ) . ( 5 ) Factorial analysis . The Results Of The Study : - (1) there is a correlation of statistical significant between the irrational ideas for psychosomatic managers and psychological stresses .
