Abstract
The present thesis is mainly devoted for shallow geophysical investigation using the geoelectric resistivity techniques on the deltaic sediments in El - Sharkiya Governorate, Nile Delta, Egypt. This thesis represents the third of its kind for the program of Quaternary studies in the Nile Delta through electric resistivity investigations by the Geophysical section. The Middle Pleistocene sands (Qena Formation of Said, 1981 ) It generally has irregular top surface (Fig. 118) that ranges in depth from zero meter at the geziras in the south of the map area to about 38 meters below ground surface at some spots.
