Abstract
The mouth parts and food preferance : The head of Laccotrephes fabricii is opithognathous with a typical hemipteran beak, majorly consisting of a slender, four - segmented rigid labium. The basal part of the beak in - cludes the short labrum and yhe space between the labrum and labium is guarded by two lateral maxillary plates.
