Abstract
Avariable proportion of normal, transformed and malignant lympho-cytes show the presence of cytoplasmic glycogen granules of variable size and number. However, no sufficient informations are found in the literatures about the types of PAS positive immunocytes. The aim of this work was to indentify the types of immunocytes which can be stained by PAS stain and to use this as adiagnostic tool of acute celluar rejection of the renal allograft using cells obtained by fine needle aspiration biopsy of the graft as a target for this stain.
