Abstract
the present thesis deals with the improvement of 14 s o.e. and 20 s r.s. cotton yarns, which be used after sizing as warp threads in the production of plain woven fabrics for shirts and bed sheeting. This is by sizing and pre-drying of warp theards before final drying by the drying cylinders.
