Abstract The present thesis is mainly deals with the analysis of the available logs for twenty wells drilled in the central part of the Gulf of Suez, Egypt. Eight of these wells were logged, including the records of gamma - ray, caliper, formation density, sonic, neutron and the resistivity logs. This is essentially for evaluating the hydrocarbon potentialities of the Miocene Formations, with special emphasis to Kareem and Belayim Formations in the area of study. |
