Abstract This study was conducted on forty patients scheduled for different urologic procedures. Their mean age was 41.2±11.5 (range 25-36years). Their mean body weight was 13.4±16.2 (range 43-110Kg). They were of either sex. They were classified into four groups; each consisting of 10 patients. All patients did not receive any premedication. an epidural catheter was inserted between 2.3 lumQar spines. Through which the drugs were administered. Patients of the first group were in.iected with bupivacaine (0.5%) lmg/kg and xylacaine (2%) as 25% of calculated volume of bupivacaine through the epidural catheter. The second group were addition to O. 05mg;’kg morphine. Treated as Third group group 1 in rece i ved the mixture as group 1 plus 2J.lg/kg celandine. Group 4 were treated as in group 1 in addition to g/kg celandine through the epidural catheter. |
