Abstract A total number of fourty five, one-day old Hubbard chicks obtained from General Poultry company were used for this study for the determination of serum total proteins, protein fractions, IgG concentration and hemagglutination inhibition titre. The chicken were classified into three main groups as follows: Group I: Included 15 apparently healthy non infected chickens, were kept far from the infected groups, used as control. Group II: (vaccinated group) contained 15 chickens, each one vaccinated at four weeks of age with lasota strain of newcastle diease virus through drinking water. Group III: (infected group) comprised 15 chickens, each one infected at four weeks of age with mycoplasma gallisepticum (2 x 10 8 C.F.U) intranasaly. |
