Abstract
Cisplatin is a highly effective chemotherapeutic agent used in the treatment of a wide variety of cancers.gentamicin is one of the most important aminoglycoside antibiotics used against serious gram-negative ingections.however,the majour complication of cisplatin or gentamicin treatment is nephrotoxicity that limited their clinical use.in the present study,the effect of natural compounds such as ginkgo biloba or L-carnnitine was evaluated against nephrotoxicity that was induced chemically in experimental rats by cisplatin or gentamicin.
This study was conducted to evaluate the Tatherbed natural compounds such as Djincubeluba well - Carenetin against renal toxicity updated experimentally both cisplatin or gentamicin on rats.
