Abstract
Synthetic hormones proved to be a potential carcinogens and consequently the food scientists raised objections against the use of hormonal additives for fattening purposes, as their residue in meat and offals may constitute a potential risk to consumer. This work was carried out on 400 domestic muscle samples of chickens (100 of fresh broilers, 100 from native beeds ”baladi”, 100 imported frozen and 100 frozen locally produced broilers).
