Abstract In particular, there are extensive measurements have been made using IGA technique to measure the change in the oxygen stoichiometry x, as a function of pressure and temperature at equilibrium condition. Since the chemical potential ?, is sensitive to the oxygen stoichiometry x, the measurement technique allows to extract the thermodynamic response function 2k(?x???)T which can be calculated by any theory of oxygen thermodynamics. Substitution the yttrium ion Y, in the superconductor compound Y1Ba2Cu3O6+x by other rare earth ions Re=Er, strongly expected varies with change in the ion size due to the changes in the lattice parameter. These changes may or may not make in oxygen content, the electronic structure and the transition temperature. The isotherm measurements at a series points of different oxygen concentrations across T-O transition will help to study the effect of oxygen concentration on the transition temperature under equilibrium condition. This study should provide an important information on the phase diagram. It is important to compare our phase diagram with the best other reported experimental works and fit them to Salford-theoretical model. The phase equilibrium diagrams is quite useful to understand the conditions necessary for processing high temperature superconducting materials and provide information require to adequately oxygenating the superconducting material. |
