Data were collected by using the questionnaire sheet to investigate patients’ and health care providers’ perception toward patient’s rights. Results: (1) the highest mean score of agreement about patient’s rights between health care providers (nurses and physicians) and patients was related to patient’s rights to considerate a respectful care of the patients while the lowest mean score was related to refuse prescribed treatment. (2) there are statistical significant differences between total agreement of both health care providers and patients about patient’s rights.Recommendations: (1) the concept of patient’s rights must be included in the undergraduate studies as well as postgraduate courses in nursing and medical faculities, (2) each health care organization must conduct continuing education programs for health care providers on the importance of patients’ bill of rights.
