Abstract

The present thesis studied experimental as well as theoretical results relating the subject of employing methods for speed and torque estimation in sensorless 3 ــ phase induction motor drive. The result achieved can be summarized in the following points: -
1 – Three methods for evaluating speed and torque of the motor have been presented. The three methods are dependent on motor measured quantities of input current, applied voltage and its frequency. methods are based on an accurate mathematical model which depends on the actual motor parameters, varied with the stator frequency and rotor slip.
3 – The first method of evaluating speed and torque which depends on the equivalent circuit parameters, gives accurate results as shown in fig. (2.1) to (2.18). To use this method, its computer program has to be fed by the accurate values of motor parameters. To change the application of this method from one motor to another one, the only
