Abstract
Concerned with the message analytical study of some compounds that contain Chidaah loop Albebraszen by devising ways minute Hsashltaaan these compounds in affecting the interactions of these compounds with solvents and reagents proposed Examples of such compounds: Alheidroxizin and Fluphenazine and Alkithonasulan and Alcetrzyn and lsinazizualbossberon.In this work, certain piperazine derivatives of pharmaceutical interest namely: Hydroxyzine dihydrochloride, Fluphenazine dihydrochloride, Ketoconazole, Cinnarizine, Buspirone hydrochloride, and Cetirizine dihydrochloride were studied-It is a great importance to develop new methods for the determination of some piperazine derivatives, either in pure form or in the pharmaceutical formulations. The investigation includes usefulness of certain spectroscopic and potentiometric techniques including: spectrophotometry, atomic absorption spectrometry, and ion selective electrode. The thesis falls in two parts: Part (I): This part demonstrates a theoretical basic background review on the previous methods of the assay of the cited drugs. Part (II): This part includes four sections. Section (1): This section describes a simple spectrophotometric method based on charge transfer complex formation, using p-CA and TCNQ reagents with the cited drugs in pure form or in pharmaceutical preparations. The results obtained were compared with those of the official and reference methods. Section (2): This section demonstrates the using of ternary complex format: between MO (V) thiocyanate and the studied drugs in both pure form a pharmaceutical preparations, the reaction products were determin colorimetry and by AAS. The obtained results were compared with tho of the official and reference methods. Section (3): This part is concerned with studying the determination of the cite drugs by ion pair formation using rose bengal and eosin reagents, Th results obtained were compared with those of the official and referenc methods. Section (4): This section describes the construction and using of ion selective electrodes for the direct potentiometric determination of Cinnarizine, Ketoconazole and Cetirizine dihydrochloride. This method was applied for the determination of the pharmaceutical preparations, The data given are statistically analyzed and compared with those of the compendial methods or published ones. The thesis contains seventy two figures, sixty six tables and sixty four and two hundred reference from 1951 to 2002.
