Abstract The objective of the present investigation is to isolate some metal resistant bacterial strains from industrial waste water and evaluate their abilities to uptake Cd+2 and Ni+2 and then study the culture conditions under which they can remove cadmium and nickel more efficiently. This can be summarized as follows: Three water samples were collected from different water sources polluted with industrial wastes at different sites in Sharkia Governorate (A) Polyethelene manufacture, (B) Soap and oil manufacture and (C) Kaha for Food manufacture. |
