Abstract The aim of this work to isolation and identification of facultative anaerobic bacteria we found that out of 75 cases samples collected from genital tract of non-pregnant cows (50 without oestrus and 25 at oestrus phase), 11 cows were positive for pathogenic bacteria with an incidence of 14.67%. The recovery from uterus was 2.67 %, from cervix was 4.00 % and from vagina was 14.67%. Out of 25 cases samples collected from genital tract of recently aborted cows, 23 cows were positive for pathogenic bacteria with an incidence of 92.00%. The recovery from uterus was 36.00%, from cervix was 92.00% and from vagina was 76.00%. The recovery from uterus was 11.00% and from cervix was 26.00 % and from vagina was 30.00%. Out of 75 cases samples collected from genital tract of non-pregnant cows (50 without oestrus and 25 at oestrus phase), F.necrophorum was sensitive to Ciprofloxacin, Amikacin, Chloramphenicol, Oxalinic acid, Spiramycin, Spectinomycin, Amoxacillin, Ampicillin, Tetracycline, Penicillin G, and Streptomycin P. anaerobius was found to be sensitive to Ciprofloxacin, Amikacin, Chloramphenicol, Oxalinic acid, Amoxacillin, Ampicillin, Tetracycline, and Penicillin G. Molecular detection of C. perfringnes by (PCR). Out of 18 cases of endometritis in emergency slaughtered cows,8 (44%) C. perfringenes isolates were detected by PCR. |
