Abstract Isolation of mycoplasma was tried from the respiratory and reproductive systems of naturally infected chickens, and serum samples were collected from living infected birds to compare between lesions, isolation of M.gallisepticum and the antibody response. As well as to evaluate the serological tests used for the diagnosis of M.gallisepticum infection and to find the most sensitive serological test in the early and late infection. In naturally infected flocks: One-hundred and eighty samples were cultivated from the respiratory system of one day old chicks. The recovery rate of mycoplasma was (9.44%) and M.gallisepticum was identified (29.41%). As well as M.gallisepticum antibodies were detected (55%) by slid agglutination test, while heamagglutination inhibition and growth inhibition tests were negative. |
