Abstract The main objective of this work is to study the numerical solutions of multivariable Fredholm integral equations of second kind by direct and iterative methods. We begin by introducing the interpolation and numerical integration methods in multidimensional spaces. Then direct and iterative methods are investigated for different regions in two and three dimensions. For each of these methods, we establish a corresponding algorithm in order to compare between the results of all studied schemes. We have tried our best to make this exposition as self – contained and accessible as possible. |
