Abstract
CONCLUSIOertension. The material of this study comprised 30 individ¬ uals all of them were males, categorised into 2 groups: Group I : Bilharzial patients with portal hypertension (20 cases) • Group II: Control grpup (10 healthy individuals). All cases were subjected to the following : • Clinical assessment which include thorough history tacking and clinical examination • • Laboratory and instrumental investigations comprised _ Urine and stool analysis. _ Blood picture. _ Protein, albumin and globulin estimation in blood. _ Blood urea and serum creatinine estimation • _ X-ray chest and heart. _ Electro cardiography. - 90 - SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION The aim of this work was to study the effect of bronchodilators versus diuretics on some respiratory function tests in bilharzial patients with portal hyp- ertension.
