Abstract
This study was carried out to evaluate the effect of national family planning program on C.B.R. in both urban and rural areas of Dakahlia Governorate. This Study Included : Two main stages : First: Analysis of the records and registrations in health bureau in Mansoura city as an urban area and in Ketama , Diast, Auish El-Hagr ,Mehalet El-Damana Villages as rural areas. It comprised retrospective study of data collected in these places five years before and after the onset of national family planning program in Egypt. Second: In addition to that study of knowledge, attitude and practice of family planning methods by ever married females was investigated through completion ,of a question aire by 500 females in the child bearing age (15 - 45 years).
