Abstract
Synthesis of some new benzoxazinone, quinazolinone, pyrazole, benzoimidazole and acrylonitrile derivatives and Study their methods of preparation, their activities as petroleum additives.
1. Study the rate of oxidation of petroleum fractions and the effect of additives on this rate.
2. Determine the effect of these additives on acid number (T.A.N), hydroxyl value, carbonyl value, ester value and peroxide value, also, Ultra Violet of oil and thermal analysis of additives were carried out.
3. Determine the rate of corrosion of some metals as iron, cupper and aluminum.
