Abstract
The previous studies on the biological effect of trypsin inhibitor , isolated from raw soybean, showed the ability of this agent to cause hypertrophy and hyperplasia of pancreas.Also, it increases the popula - tion of the intermediate cells of pancreas.this type of cell has the characteristic feature of acinar cell and b-cell by showing zymogen and b-granules however the later contains insulin. it was therefore of interest to investiga further the role of raw soybeanfeeding on a possible.
