Abstract
The present investigation deals with the estimation of the bottom fauna along the Mediterranean coast of Egypt, with special reference to Mollusca. Results indicated that the offshore regions were more productive than inshores ones. the ratio of the total numbers of benthos for the offshore to the in-shore regions were found to be 2:1 respectively.
