Abstract Two field experiments were carried out the Agricultural Experiment Station, Faculty of Agriculture. Mansoura University during 1989 and 1990 seasons to study the effect of weed control and growth regulator treatments on growth, yield, yield components and seed quality of soybean cv, Crawford. The experiments were laid out in a strip plot design with four replications. The horizontal strips contained four weed control treatments : .1Hand hoeing. .2Eptam (EPTC) application at a rate of 2,0 L/fed. .3Stomp (pendimethalin) application at a rate of 1.5 L./fed. .4Triflan (trifluralin) application at a rate of 1.0 L/fed. The vertical strips contained seven growth regulator treatments:- .1The control treatment. .2GA3 at a rate of 50 ppm .3GA3 at a rate of 100 ppm. |
