Abstract Six field experiments were carried out at the ExperiMental farm Fac. of Agric. Mansoura Univ., during 1985 and 1986 seasona in order to investigate the following three studies. 1- Effect of nitrogen levels (45.60 and 75 kgN/fad) and hill spacing’s (10*10, 15*15, 20*20, 25*25 and 30*30 cm between hills) on the growth and yield of IR 28 rice cultivar. 2- Effect of nitrogen levels (0, 25, 50 and 75 KgN/fad) and time of zinc sulphate application (at transplanting, 10, 20 and 30 days after transplanting) on the growth and yield of IR 50 rice cultivar. 3- Effect of nitrogen levels (20, 40. 60 and 80 Kgn/fad) and blue-green algae (BGA) (T a rate of 100 gm/fad) on yield of IR 50rice cultivar. A strip-plot design with four replications was adopted for each experiment. The main findings of this investigation could be summarized for the three studies as follows. |
