Abstract
Infection is an important cause of morbidity and mortality after renal transplantion. Furthermore, certain infectious agents may themselves after immune competence cause renal damage and trigger rejection. This work was done on 200 kidney transplantation patients in Uro-logy and Nephrology Center Mansoura University to study the following : 1. The incidence of infection in these patients in urnary tract and radivac, after transplantation. Furthermore, we studies the phenomenon of recurrence of infection. 2. The pattern of sensitivities of the pathogenic bacteria.
