In fact, grammatical, morphological, stylistic and orthographic mistakes spread among students in different educational cycles. Some previous studies attempted to explore some of these language mistakes; they differ about differences related to gender. Some other studies tried to provide a treatment for these language mistakes relying upon some teaching methods that overlook Constructivism Theory; they also did not try to treat the psychological problems that students suffer from and which may cause these mistakes. Therefore, the current research tires to answer the questions raised by the previous discussion which form the core of the research problem. The research problem was specified in the following main question: What is the effectiveness of a proposed constructivism– based program in treating some linguistic mistakes and decreasing writing anxiety of the first secondary stage students?. Researcher has prepared Diagnostic test and Writing Anxiety Scale. Research Tools have applicated on a sample of 1st grade secondary stage students in Mansoura City - Dakahlia Governorate. Research sample has contained from female students (60) female student on secondary Mansoura for girls, this sample divided into two group: Control Group its number (30) female student and Experimental Group its number (30) female student, and Research sample has contained from male students (60) male student on secondary Mansoura for boys, this sample divided into two group: Control Group its number (30) male student and Experimental Group its number (30) male student. The research resulted in: 1- A list of common linguistic mistakes that spread with the percentage of 25 % or above among first grade secondary stage male and female students. 2- The effectiveness of the proposed program in treating of the linguistic mistakes of first grade secondary stage male and female students. 3- Female students excelled male students in the first grade secondary stage on the diagnostic test. 4- The effectiveness of the proposed program in lowering writing anxiety of first grade secondary stage male and female students. 5- Female students excelled male students in the first grade secondary stage on the writing anxiety scale, indicating that writing anxiety of female students is lower than the males. 6- There was a significant co relational relationship between the scores of first grade general secondary stage male and female students on the diagnostic test and their scores on the writing anxiety scale.
