Abstract
In the present work, the author attempted to investigate on qualitative and quantitive grounds all geophysical data available at present on the Nile Delta area. These geophysical data include gravity, magnetic, electric well logs and drill - hole informations prepared by different Oil companies prospecting for gas and petroleum in the Delta.there exists a considerable variation in the thickness of the sedimentary cover in the nile delta area.
