Abstract The dyke rocks of Wadi El Gidami - Wadi El Markh area dissecting a country rock of metavolcanies, granites, adamellites and granodiorites, are considered to pertain to the post - granite dykes of the Eastern Desert of Egypt, (Akaad and El Ramly, 1960). The dykes are hard massive, compect, fine grained rocks with buff, pink, red, violet, dark greyish green and black colours, usually, the acid varieties posses megacrysts of quartz and feldspars. |
