Abstract
The asymptotic method is used to calculate the scalar flux and some physical parameters for one velocity critical slab. The strained coordinte method is used to faster the convergence of the asymptotic series. numerical calculations for the scalar flux, secondary number of neutrons, diffusion cofficient, buckling cofficient, diffusion length and the decay constant are performed.
