Abstract Laboratory and greenhouse trials were conducted to find the effect of some soil-borne fungal antagonists Trichoderma harzinun, Gliocldium virens, G.roseum on some soil-borne fungal patgogens , R . solani, F.oxysporum F.sp. cucumerinum and S. sclerotiorum. Also to study the effect of some plants extracts, plant exudates and plant materials such as onion dry scale leaves. Other treatments for finding the effects of nitrogen fertilizers and certain antibiotics were also conducted. Green house investigation was done on cucumber seedlings using artificial inoculation with the fungal pathogens, while seeds were coated by the fungal antagonists, the results in brief as follows :- 1-Inhibitory effective of fungal metabolites of T. harzianum on growth of some fungal pathogens The best inhibition in the radial growth of R . solani was obtained from the 20% I. harzianum filtrate concentration while the 10% filtrate concentration of 1 and 3 weeks age gave 11.70 and 13.80% in radial growth of F. oxysporum f. sp. Cucumerinum. The 5.10 and 20% filtrate concentrates of T. harzianum gave highly significant results against s. sclerotiorum. |
