Abstract
Several maps and profiles have been constructed to illustrate the geology and hydrogeology of the study area. Finally, several conclusions have been drawn from the study. These are summarized in the following. Climate And Geomorphology : The Climatic elements of the study area indicate that it is located in an extremely arid region; which would affect its hydrogeological conditions. The landscape of the study area is divided into three principal geomorphic units, the carbonate plateaux, the old alluvial terraces and the young alluvial plain.
