Abstract The aim of the present study was to test the effects of different levels of vitamin ” A” in the diets of growing rabbits and embryos recovery. The present study was carried out at Sakha Animal production research station. Animal production research institute, Ministry of agriculture, Kafr el-sheikh, from the period between December 1993 to the end of june 1994, on Sixty-seven new Zealand white rabbits ( 52 does and 15 bucks ) of 12 and 14 month-old, respectively. The does were divided into three equal body weight groups (A.B and C). 1-Group (A) received diet containing 16.47 % crude protein. 2.30% fat, 13% crude fiber and supplemented with 15000iu vitamin A/kg diet ( control) to the end of experimental period. 2- Group (B) received diet 11 which contained 17% crude protein. 2.50% fat and 13.28% crude fiber and supplemented with 1000 iu vitamin A/Kg diet (low) to the end of experimental period. |
