Abstract
The present study has revealed the presence of 10 spec-ies of the genus Cichlidogyrus Paperna, 1960 on the gills of three cichlid hosts, S. galilaea, S. nilotica and T. zillii. The prevalence and intensities of these cichlidogyrids have been recorded for two sites on the River Nile, Mansoura and Demietta.The most abundant parasites are C. halli typicus and C. arthracanthus.
