Abstract
The present investigation deals with the study of the electrical properties of thin polymeric films. Thin films of polyethylene (high and low density), polypropylene polyvcinyl chloride, and polyvinyl acetate, were prepared by vacuum deposition method at a pressure of about 104 torr. The measured thicknesses of the polymeric films were about 600 A. The I-V characteristics for the prepared films were tested using conventional electrical conductivity measuring circuit.
