Optical illusion philosophy relies on motor sensation of elements that occurs through many of optical tricks and misleading. This movement entered into formative art as a basic element as a result for the effect of science in art and the reliance of the movement as a basis for perception of real time. Art depends mainly on both rhythm and motion as appeared highly on some textile works. Problem of the study can be defined mainly on the following basic question: how can we enrich textile work, design by benefiting from formative values of optical illusion? Aims of the study can be summarized on participating in enriching fields of designing manual textile works through comprehensive study of optical illusion from all dimensions and trying to benefit from it in creating designs that can be suitable for textile works through making full use of computer technology in creating and developing designs for realizing optical illusion in a contemporary vision . The researcher uses experimental , descriptive analytical and historical approaches. Research designs : The researcher prepared (28 designs) from works of artists , (14 designs) from natural , (20 designs) from visualization , and (15 designs) from the personal experiment of the researcher. Experiment and result of applied research : The self experiment of the research includes organizational frame , experiment practical aims and variables , experimental approaches analysis and basic results for experimental process in the study . Results and recommendations: The researcher gets many results important among which modern artists attitudes are highly influential and can be considered as a basic source for both practitioners and researchers to enrich their ideas and concepts concerning optical illusions in all fields generally and in optical illusion specially optical illusion as an interesting field for textile works. Important among recommendations of the study is a must for researchers to deal with works of Vasarelly and optical illusions as a major for it is highly effective in art and design as a main source for artistic creativity.
