Vietnam War was one of the remnants of the French colonial empire, and its attempt to suppress the forces of national liberation in Indochina following the end of World War II, which eventually led to the overthrow of the outside that region, and Neil Vietnam its independence in 1954 is sure that the emergence of China in 1949 , was a turning point in the crisis of Vietnam, which led to intervention by the United States of America in the Vietnam crisis directly. This study is divided into an introduction and five chapters and a conclusion; came first chapter entitled: ”French colonialism in Vietnam”; where the researcher discusses the evolution of events since the fall of Vietnam in the hands of France until the end of World War II. Chapter II deals with ”the first Vietnamese revolution”, through attempts to address the evolution of events between the Vietnamese from France and even debt crisis Bien Phu, which ended the French presence in Vietnam in 1954. The ”division of Vietnam” was the title of Chapter III; Chapter events where the Geneva Conference and the emergence of two in Vietnam, and Chinese support for North Vietnam, and U.S. aid to South Vietnam. And Chapter IV ”revolution of South Vietnam,” and how the Vietcong movement arose which led the revolution and the fact that South Vietnam’s northern support of the movement and ends with Chapter overthrow the government of Diem of South Vietnam by the Army itself? And Download Chapter V entitled ”the U.S. invasion of North Vietnam”; where he addresses the researcher the power struggle between the military in Saigon in the wake of the assassination of Diem, and how the deterioration of command in Vietnam, which led to the U.S. invasion of North Vietnam, the U.S. intervention direct in the war, and degradation the U.S. military in Vietnam and engage in the negotiation phase in 1969.
