Abstract
Prostate cancer is an important health problem. The treatment modalities are under continuous development the new surgical techniques include laparoscopic and robotic assisted prostatectomy. The new radiation techniques include 3D-CRT, IMRT with IGRT, PBT & SBRT but 3D-CRT became the standard. Hormonal treatment is preferred to be used as a neoadjuvant treatment for high risk & locally advanced prostate cancer. The novel targeted agents are under clinical trial and may be combined to cytotoxic chemotherapy.
